Pilates

Pilates womanA low-impact form of exercise that develops body awareness, develops flexibility, endurance and strength without building bulk. Individuals use their own body weight as resistance to work through a variety of exercises that sculpt and tone the body improving and changing the body's postural alignment. Technique and breath pattern is very important in Pilates exercises.

Pilates is an exercise method which encourages the use of the mind to control the muscles, focusing on the core postural muscles which give support to the spine and emphasising muscular balance.
