How Jane lost 3 stone!
 
In November 2005 Jane came to us wanting to weight loss and improve her fitness. At only 5ft 5" she weighed in at 17st 11lb (113kg).
 
She was a member of Esporta but had never really been there on a regular basis. A year previously Jane had undergone major reconstructive surgery for a serious knee injury. 
 
We started Jane on a quick 20 minute programme in the gym at Esporta, 10 minutes cardio and 10 minutes on weights. In this way she could be in and out of the gym within half an hour, making it easy to fit into her hectic schedule.
 
Jane saw her Wolff Fitness instructor, Daniel, twice a week. During these personal training sessions Daniel worked on Jane’s cardiovascular fitness through kickboxing, step exercises and a progressive run programme. Daniel also showed Jane weight training and core stability routines that she could use in the gym and at home.
 
As Jane progressed Daniel upped her personal training programme to 60 minutes, increasing the intensity to include sprint training on the cardio machines and power training on the weights.
 
They also started focusing on diet. Jane filled in a 4 day food diary each month so that Daniel could analyse her eating patterns and work out a personalised diet plan.
 
Daniel would also keep Jane motivated through regular phone calls, emails and texts, especially during periods when she wasn’t losing weight.
 
A year on, Jane now weighs 14st 6lb (93kg), averages 4 sesions a week at Esporta and regularly runs 10 to 15km a week. Her new target is to get below 14st (90kg).
